Co-founder

Iain Henderson

Iain has a 25-year career in finance, starting in derivatives at UBS and Deutsche Bank. Shifting to environmental commodities in 2009, he worked in carbon trading, held senior roles at WWF Hong Kong and the United Nations in Geneva. He later served as MD at private markets firm ADM Capital and co-led DRW’s carbon markets team before joining Mawgan Capital. He is a CFA & CAIA Charterholder.

Iain Porter

Iain was part of the founding team of Trove Intelligence, a carbon market data platform acquired by MSCI. During his tenure, Trove scaled from 5 to 80+ employees, setting industry benchmarks in carbon market forecasting. His work appeared in the Financial Times and Carbon Pulse. He later joined DRW, a proprietary trading firm, to develop carbon market analytics. Iain holds degrees in engineering and economics, and a post-graduate certification in sustainable finance from the University of Leeds, Bath, and Cambridge, respectively.
